I find reading poetry difficult to be honest ... I believe that the author should read it out loud, that's the only way to be absolutely sure that it has arrived like it should have ... meaning where are the intonations, the pauses, whispers ... etc.
I like poetry for it's often strange use of words and sentences, but it's also confusing when you're reading it ... what also can help set the mood, is a picture ... some poets insert an image, it's almost like the words are written because of that image ... to me such combination reads easier somehow.

am I making any sense at all?

Who's to say who's a writer an who isn't, i'm just a twenty year old poet, i've lived a thousand lifetimes and walked a million miles inside my head and blah blah blah, but i think this site is good everyone can look arround and decide what they like, i've only had my stuff up since the 26th of last month, but hundreds have people have ready a few dozen poems i've read, this is a great place.

thank you, i understand though, i appreciate the comments though, i don't think some has to be a native speaker to appreciate poetry though, and not to commaint, most of my favroite poets, athur rimbau for examples, all i can read is a translation but the poetry still comes through, faust is still an amazing epic poem, though i wish i could read an comprhende and imagine them in those languages, t i don't speak any other languages sadly, tried ti learn few, just not something i could do, but on the css it' really easy though thats the one i downloaded and used, the download has zips with different colors ones, in differet name folders, and is worth getting just for the instruction txt file. i downloaded it cuz it looked easy to set up but there's lots more over there, [link]
